Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Journal of Nanomaterials and Applications (JNA) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and scholarly rigor.
The journal follows the principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and internationally recognized ethical guidelines for scientific publishing.
All parties involved in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher—are required to adhere to these ethical standards.
2. Editorial Independence and ResponsibilityEditorial decisions at JNA are based solely on the scientific merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of submitted manuscripts.
Editors evaluate manuscripts without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, institutional affiliation, political beliefs, or personal relationships.
Commercial interests, sponsorship, or external influence do not affect editorial decisions.
The Editor-in-Chief has final authority over acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.
3. Authors’ Ethical ResponsibilitiesAuthors submitting manuscripts to JNA must ensure that:

Authorship disputes or changes after submission must be justified and approved by all authors and the editorial office.
4. Plagiarism and MisconductAll submissions are screened using professional plagiarism detection software.
The journal strictly prohibits:

Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards will be rejected. Published articles may be retracted if misconduct is identified post-publication.

8. Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of ConcernJNA follows COPE guidelines in handling post-publication issues:

Corrections are issued for minor errors that do not affect the overall conclusions.

Retractions are published for major ethical breaches or unreliable findings.

Expressions of Concern may be issued while investigations are ongoing.
All notices are clearly linked to the original article.
9. Data Integrity and ReproducibilityAuthors are encouraged to retain original research data and make them available upon reasonable request.
Where applicable, data availability statements should be included to promote transparency and reproducibility.
The Journal of Nanomaterials and Applications is a fully open-access journal.

Currently, no article processing charges (APCs) are required.
